Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-13

This page lists every cookie and item of browser storage that Seentrix sets, what each one does, and how long it lasts. We do not use advertising trackers, and we currently run no analytics cookies of any kind. To be clear: we do measure page views, but without cookies — our analytics sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, which is why it does not appear in the tables below. How it works is described in our Privacy Policy (§2).

1. Cookies we set (first-party)

CookiePurposeRetentionType

su_atShort-lived proof that you recently re-entered your credentials, required before sensitive actions (e.g. issuing a Declaration of Conformity, revealing an API key, deleting an organisation).5 minutesStrictly necessary (security)

2. Browser storage we use (localStorage / sessionStorage)

sentryReplaySession (sessionStorage)Used by our error-monitoring tool (Sentry) only while an error diagnostic capture is active. All text is masked and all media blocked before anything leaves your browser; no routine session recording takes place.Current browser tab session

3. Third-party cookies

  • Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection): the contact form, the newsletter signup, and public vulnerability-report pages load Cloudflare's Turnstile widget to block automated abuse. Cloudflare may set cookies on its own domain (challenges.cloudflare.com), typically __cf_bm (about 30 minutes) and, when a challenge is issued, cf_clearance. These serve solely to distinguish humans from bots and fall under the strictly-necessary security exception. Turnstile is not loaded on pages that do not need it.
  • Stripe (payments): we do not load Stripe scripts on seentrix.com. When you start a checkout or open the billing portal you are redirected to Stripe's own website (checkout.stripe.com / billing.stripe.com), where Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and payment processing under Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Sentry (error monitoring): sets no cookies. See the sessionStorage entry above.

4. What we do not use

No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no social-media pixels, and no third-party fonts or CDNs that could set cookies. Our page-view analytics works entirely without cookies or browser storage (see the Privacy Policy, §2), so it sets nothing this page would need to list. If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, they will be off by default, asked for with a genuine opt-in consent banner, and this page will be updated first.

5. Consent

Everything listed above is either strictly necessary for the Service to function (authentication, security, fraud/bot prevention) or stores a preference you actively chose (language, currency). Under the ePrivacy rules these do not require prior consent, which is why the notice that appears on your first visit is informational — it has no toggles because there is nothing optional to toggle.

6. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in; deleting the preference cookies simply resets your language and currency choices.
